The Migrant Integration Project

We are pleased to announce, that in March 2015, after 5 years of working together and the success of the last project under the Big Lottery Reaching Communities Fund, we have begun a new project – the Migrant Integration Project which as of 1st July 2019 is part funded by the Harpur Trust and allows us to offer free English lessons (ESOL for Integration), career advice, qualification transfer and advice sessions. We will also organise meetings, social events and help those who are interested in courses on Careers in Childcare or Introduction to IT.

We have long-term experience, numerous achievements and successes in this area. In the evaluation report of the previous project Rob Burton wrote: PBIC should be proud of what they have achieved in the past five years thanks to the Big Lottery Fund. (…) PBIC provide an essential and unique service – helping Polish immigrants settle in the UK and integrate with the community in Bedfordshire and Luton. Working with partner organisations PBIC provides services for migrants focusing on satisfying their needs and improving their quality of life. Therefore, we invite you take advantage of our offer and to inform your friends about its availability , remembering that we are not only helping Polish immigrants, but also those from Central and Eastern Europe.
